Where I've Been

The knowledge I have today is the product of 25 years spent working with organizations, businesses, partners, and technology. If you'd like more specific information please check my LinkedIn Profile.

There are six chapters in my professional experience thus far:

Expedia Group (2013 – the present)
    

Worked in Global Marketing, Business Development, Product, Partner Solutions, and now back in Marketing.

For the first couple of years I was responsible for integrating partners around the globe with Expedia travel products, primarily our API stack.

In my latest role I am the Global Product Owner for Expedia's Partner-facing API Platform, tasked with delivering a consolidated travel search and book API platform to Expedia's extensive partner community.

T-Mobile USA (2000 – 2013)
    

Twelve and a half years at a national wireless carrier through a period of explosive business growth and organizational evolution.

Four years managing all aspects of software design, development, deployment, and management, followed by eight years working between T-Mobile internal teams, retail sales channel, dealers and national retail partners. Drove increased revenue through building and enhancing online sales and service tools.

Saltmine LLC (1996 – 2000)
    

Four years building websites and software development teams at an online services company during the Internet boom of the late 1990's.

Performed the roles of Software Developer, Software Development Manager, Business Analyst, and Project Manager. Served as User Interface technology consultant to organization, partners, and clients at a time when the Internet was just starting to create undreamed of connections across the globe.

    
Antioch University (1991 – 1994)
    

Three years finishing my BA in Liberal Studies in a program designed to integrate real-world experience into a degree program.

Provided the opportunity to quantify my leadership experiences, while filling in the theory behind the practice that I had already gained in the areas of Organizational Leadership and Individual Development.

Bars & Restaurants (1990 – 1996)
    

Six years spent working in bars and restaurants while finishing my degree and deciding what to do with my career.

Deep training on one of the most inter-dependent teams in the world (the restaurant), as well as continued training in team leadership and management.

The Green Tortoise (1987 – 1990)
    

Two and a half years spent working for an "Alternative Travel Company" driving bus tours throughout North America.

Aside from an amazing personal experience, this role was also an intensive course in planning, communication, problem-solving, and leadership which has influenced all my subsequent roles.
