There is a road, no simple highway,
Between the dawn and the dark of night,
And if you go, no one may follow,
That path is for your steps alone ...

Getting Here from There

As a young man I felt that something was missing in my life and that my future happiness depended on finding it.

I did not know what it looked like, where it was located, or how to search for it, but I was certain of one thing — I knew I would not find it where I was.

I set out with no clear picture of process or destination, but secure in the belief that, whatever happened, I would find more through being in motion than standing still.
